On Saturday, the 23rd of 2025, at 02:06 EST, there’s the New Moon at 00°22’ of Virgo.
This New Moon is not an eclipse, but it marks the beginning of the second eclipse season of 2025.
Eclipse seasons are a wildcard, so take it easy.
It’s a good time to sharpen your intuition, care for your body, and be open to the seeds the universe is nurturing (or not) right now.
I want to help you do so, especially if you have Saturn in Pisces in your birth chart. I’ll try to do so by offering some guidance in this post.

Let’s go.
Eclipse Season as a Cosmic Seeding Process
All gardeners know that not every seed blooms. You have to plant them, take care of them, and then release all expectations.
Some may bloom, some don’t. And it doesn’t matter if you are an experienced gardener or an amateur one.
You may do everything the way it’s supposed to be done, and still not get results.
Or you could get results, but they are not what you were waiting for.
Maybe the weather changes unexpectedly, or there’s a climate catastrophe, and your garden is destroyed.

My goal with this gardening metaphor is not to instill fear.
Instead, I want to offer my vision about eclipses in astrology.
Eclipse season is a cosmic seeding process: you have no visibility of what’s happening beneath the surface. Some seeds may bloom, some don´t. There’s no way of knowing it just now.
This doesn’t mean that you should stop all action and wait passively. It means you should go with the flow and (try to) trust the unknown.
Easy said than done. But the rewards are ten times better.
This eclipse season could be your opportunity to try this approach and see what happens.
The Second Eclipse Season of 2025
The second eclipse season of 2025 starts on the 23rd of August at 02:06 EST with the New Moon occurring at 00°22’ of Virgo.
This New Moon is not an eclipse. It is the New Moon that occurs before the New Moon that will be an eclipse.
But the first actual eclipse of the second eclipse season of 2025 is not a New Moon. It’s a Total Lunar Eclipse at 15°24’ of Pisces, happening on September 7th at 14:12 EST.
The first eclipse of the second eclipse season of 2025 occurs in the South Node in the last sign of the zodiac. Powerful emotional endings.
Then, the second eclipse of the season it’s a New Moon. It will occur on September 21st at 15:43 EST. It’s a Partial Solar Eclipse at 28°59’ of Virgo.
A new beginning occurs after an ending because Virgo is the South Node in this cycle. It feels like a purification or distillation of sorts.
Eclipse season ends on October 21st at 08:24 EST. At that time it occurs the New Moon in Libra. This New Moon is not an eclipse and it closes the eclipse window of the year.
You may have noticed that the eclipse window is open for roughly two whole months.
It seems to be a long period of time.
But believe me when I tell you that surprises and synchronicities are at an all-time high during eclipse season.
Of course, the intensity of the eclipses will not be at full force for the whole two months. During this 60-day window, the pressure will sometimes be higher and sometimes lighter.
Synchronicities emerge timidly after the New Moon that is not an eclipse and get more potent closer to the eclipses.

Second Eclipse Season of 2025 for Those who Have Saturn in Pisces in Their Birth Chart
During the whole duration of the second eclipse season of the year, Saturn will be retrograde.
First, it will be in Aries. But by September 1st, it will be back in Pisces. Eclipse season ends on October 21st, and Saturn turns direct on November 27th.
This information is specifically relevant to those who have Saturn in Pisces in their birth charts.
Not only do these eclipses occur in the axis Virgo/Pisces, but they also occur in the last leg of your Saturn return.
You’ll definitely receive many nudges and signals from the universe about your path and the lessons in responsibility you need to integrate.

During eclipse season and for the remainder of Saturn’s retrograde phase, don’t force anything.
Just try to absorb what’s expected of you or where you should be headed. You can also begin to wrap up “adulting” projects that you initiated in March of 2023, when Saturn ingressed Pisces for the first time.
If you have Saturn in Pisces, I would like you to act on the next phase of your life (your post-Saturn return life) from the 27th of November 2025 until the 13th of February 2026. That’s when Saturn will re-enter Aries for good, and your first Saturn return will be officially over.
For now, just be open to the possibilities.
What was going on in your life during the first part of the first eclipse season of 2025?
That period went from February 27, at 19:44 EST with the New Moon in Pisces until March 14 at 02:59 EST, when the Total Lunar Eclipse at 23°58’ of Virgo occurred.
What emerged during those 15 days? Check your journal, planner, email, photo gallery, or social media accounts to remember.
Write some notes about the themes or thoughts from back then that catch your attention.
But don’t do anything. Just write them down. You’ll have time to move forward once eclipse season is over.
Thank you for being here! Until next time.
